Notes: Sacred Heart (4-4, 4-0) travels from Hallettsville to play Lavaca County rival St. Paul (7-2, 5-0) at Comanche Stadium with the outright-district championship at stake.
St. Paul goes for its second-straight win over Sacred Heart, but Sacred Heart has won 18 of the last 23 meetings.
St. Paul has a bye next week.
Sacred Heart plays San Antonio St. Gerard but the game has already been ruled a forfeit since St. Gerard forfeited an earlier game against St. Paul.
St. Paul and Sacred Heart have each allowed a total of 36 points and have two shutouts in district play.
St. Paul’s T.J. Bell has rushed for 1,270 yards and 23 touchdowns.
