The Internet Age
In today's modern economy, it's important for almost every business to have a presence on the World Wide Web. Many small businesses are finding that a Web Page can be an important way for new customers to find them, and to communicate effectively with existing customers. Recent reports estimate the growth of the Internet (in number of users) at 35% per year! Our experience tells us that is probably an understatement.
Although it's possible to use "do-it-yourself" methods to get on the Internet, most new users do not know the tricks for effective page design, use of compact graphics, and posting files to an Internet Web Server. Instead of "trial-and-error", we can offer you our experience to guarantee quality results at reasonable prices -- done well, done on time!
Contact us to discuss your needs and get your Internet Web Pages ON-LINE TODAY!
Since 1996, we've designed Internet Web Pages for many companies, large and small in size. As a result of their Internet presence, many of our clients have developed new business from customers who might never have found them otherwise.
Even though we've been in the business for a while, we're still surprised at how effective even a simple website can be for your business, especially if you're involved in a 'niche' market ... if you specialize in unique products or services that appeal to a select audience, a website will make a remarkable difference in your bottom line.
It's no surprise that we're proud of the work we've done in the past! We think it's some of the best looking, most user-friendly, and highest search-engine-ranked pages on the web today. In fact, we think our results speak for themselves, so ...
... take a look at some websites we've designed for clients below:
Annual Half Moon Fun Run, Shiner, Texas
Each year during the Annual Half Moon Holidays Celebration, the Shiner Catholic Schools Athletic Booster Club sponsors a Fun Run including a 5K, 10K and a "KidK". This year's run will be held on Saturday, July 5th. Check out the website for information about the run, entry forms, and a link to an on-line registration website where you can enter your information and make your payment from the comfort of you own computer. Come join us for a good time in the Cleanest Little City in Texas!
Shiner Comanche Sports, Shiner, Texas
For more than twelve years, we've been keeping track of the athletes of Shiner High School. The Comanches (and Lady Comanches) have excelled in all sports and marching band over the years and this website tracks and celebrates their accomplishments as the years go by. The home page lists schedules, scores, and news stories for the current year, but also offers links to past seasons' accomplishments as well. Take a look and you'll see why we're so proud of our Comanches! They're #1.
"Light The Night with Hope" Benefit 5K Run/Walk
After Matt Pohler, a 2012 Shiner High School graduate, lost a 16-month battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in early 2014, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group sponsored a fund-raising event to benefit Matt's family and help out with their medical expenses. Over 450 runners registered and many local companies and organization sponsored the event which was held on April 27, 2014. Thousands of dollars were raised, but even more importantly, Matt's family got to see how much the Shiner community loves and supports them. Though Matt has passed on to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our memories of him live on and our prayers for his family continue.
Lone Star Bank, Moulton/Shiner, TX
Lone Star Bank, a local financial institution with several branches, already had a terrific website, but needed a new webmaster to keep their site updated and to fix a few technical problems. We were recommended by a friend, and now we've got the site tuned up and ready for business! We'll be adding new features and more information over the coming weeks, so check it out. Just because we live and work in small-town Texas, doesn't mean we can't offer the same products and services that "big-city" folks are used to getting. Sometimes smaller is better (and quicker, too!)
Star Warehousing Banks, Central Texas
Three Central Texas banking institutions are combining forces to offer mortgage loan services to other banks and financial operations. They offer consolidated mortgage packages so that companies can package these products for their customers. One of the banks was already one of our clients, so we were a natural fit to prepare this new website and keep it updated with the latest application forms and contact information to new and potential clients.
Family Dentistry of Gonzales
Dr. Gloria Haug and her staff offer the finest in dental care from the little town of Gonzales, Texas. Their existing website was out of date and too difficult to manage ... not to mention expensive. Instead, they asked us to make the updates and take over the maintenance of their on-line presence. Nothing too fancy or complicated, but the site does offer their patients a way to download and fill out their patient forms in advance of their first office visit. And it's a nice way to advertise their expert services.
Boedeker Plastics, Inc.
About 15 years ago, this company was our first-ever client. The website project started as a small make-over of existing pages, but developed into a complete overhaul -- for many years, our head designer works his day job at this company. Check this site for complete information about the many plastic materials offered by Boedeker Plastics. Website visitors from around the world contact them every day and purchase plastic materials or precision machined parts for their equipment in a wide variety of industries. We're most proud of this our longest-running (and largest) site.
First National Bank of Shiner
This locally-owned bank needed a simple webpage to inform their customers about their services and allow out-of-town prospects to find them on the web! Then, several years later, we completely redesigned the site, adding modern graphics and a link to their Internet Banking. Hometown service is king, but sometimes a 21st century approach is required. Now FNB services Shiner and several other surrounding communities.
Shiner Area Big Buck Contest
Each year the Shiner Businessmen's Club sponsors the Shiner Area Big Buck Contest. Area hunters enter the contest before the Texas whitetail deer season begins and submit their bucks for measurement into the contest. The top scoring deer in each area county receive prizes and all proceeds support Shiner area schools and charities. We provide website hosting and weekly updates, including a slideshow of photos of the contest leaders. A worthy cause and fun to track during the contest each year.
Tuttle College, LaPointe, MN
This liberal arts college in Minnesota decided it was time to step up their Internet presence to "get with it". Despite their fine faculty and facilities, they needed a little boost to attract new students, and re-connect with alumni and friends. Our task is ongoing, but have a look at Tuttle College on the shores of beautiful Lake Tanadoona. Roll, Thundercats!
Licorice and Lemon Drops Old Fashioned Candy Store, Shiner, TX
This charming little store recently relocated to Shiner from a nearby community. Not only do they have a terrific selection of old fashioned, name brand, and hand-made candies, but they also have Golden Books, American Girl Books and Gund stuffed animals. They needed a new webmaster to keep their site updated and to fix a few technical problems. They gave us a call and we got their site ready in just a couple days! Be sure to check out their on-line store where you can order a little or a lot ... and have it delivered to your home or as a gift!
Shiner Animal Hospital
The local veterinary hospital needed a web presence quickly in order to communicate with their customers and suppliers. We registered their business name as a new domain, snapped a couple digital photos, whipped up a quick website, and they were on-line in less than 6 hours. Now THAT'S service ... tell me, can YOUR webmaster do that?
Texas Country Cabins
The owners of Texas Country Cabins had a growing, thriving business already, but realized that they could reach so many more potential guests by having a website that showed off their beautiful cabins. They also needed a way for their existing guests to recommend them to others ... a new website was just the ticket. Stop by for a look ... and maybe plan a visit to Hallettsville, Texas for "country living at its best"!
Brenda O'Bannion's Books
When Brenda O'Bannion decided to publish her childrens' books, we thought she might like to have a website to promote them. Her first book, released in May 2008 is entitled "Crowbaby and Dawfie" and tells the true story of an autistic child waiting for her brother's return from the Korean War. Brenda's next books are in the works, so visit her website for more information. We think this is one of our sharper-looking sites ... check it out and see!
MegaSnax Snack Foods & Route Distribution
The Mega Snax line of snack foods and beef jerky, manufactured by DSD Services, needed a website describing their business for existing and potential route distributors. For them, a website was a natural way for them to describe their services, list their products, and communicate with their customers. This colorful site concept was created by the owners to coordinate with the distinctive look of their product packaging.
The Old Kasper House Bed & Breakfast
This beautiful B & B just needed a little bit of world-wide-web exposure! Part of "keeping up with the times" is knowing how to reach new customers and serve them better. With photos, descriptions, and rates now available on-line, The Old Kasper House is ready for the new millennium! Check out this terrific place to stay the next time you plan to visit Shiner.
Shiner Family Pharmacy
This hometown pharmacy provides state-of-the-art information and services to Shiner customers. This locally-owned business recently moved to a brand new building and offers complete pharmacy services, a wide variety of gifts for all occasions, and a convenient drive-up window for prescription pickup. Stop in for a visit the next time you're in Shiner ... tell 'em you saw them on the 'Net!
Shiner Country Inn
The Shiner Country Inn is a small, family-owned hotel that was remodeled just a few years ago. Quaint furnishing and reasonable prices are pictured on this simple webpage ... just the thing for a small local business that caters to visitors and guests in this small South-Central Texas community.
Scales & Tales Guide Service
For a real Texas fishing experience, give Captain Ron Arlitt a call ... he's been fishing the Gulf Coast for years and knows just where the big 'uns are lurking. In order to generate new business as well as remind his customers of his services, a website was in order. Now it's just a matter of time before prospective anglers are hooked!
Sann René Glaza - Art Gallery
An elegant art gallery of oil and watercolor paintings by a promising USA-born Belgian artist. Landscapes, flowers and other scenes from nature are visible in thumbnail and larger image sizes. This site uses some of the latest tricks for image display ... and there's even some optional background music to listen to while you browse the gallery.
Half Moon Realty
This new business saw a need to provide up-to-the-minute information about available properties in Shiner. Coupled with a small weekly advertisement in the local newspaper that features their web address, this website allows Half Moon Realty to effectively reach a "world-wide" audience and communicate with potential buyers and sellers. They also update their own website themselves whenever the need arises.
Trinity Football Miracle in Mississippi
We were fortunate to be present for the "Miracle in Mississippi" ... the most unbelievable football play in history. With 2 seconds remaining in the game, the Trinity University Tigers executed a 15-lateral 62-second play to score the winning TD after time expired to narrowly defeat the Millsaps Majors 28-24 in Jackson, Mississippi on October 27, 2007. Game video appeared on ESPN and YouTube later that evening and created a worldwide media sensation within hours. This new website was created to commemorate the occasion and create a central site for links to videos, news articles and photos of the amazing game.
In October 2007, the Trinity Tigers football team executed a now-famous 15-lateral play to defeat Millsaps College and grab a share of the SCAC conference championship and an NCAA playoff bid. This website was used to drive customers to an e-commerce site to purchase t-shirts and other items with this catchy "got laterals?" design. Of course, we would say that.
