  After a close first half, the Shiner St. Paul Cardinals were able to knock of the
  Schertz John Paul II Guardians 35-14, after outscoring the Guardians 20-8 in the second half.
  
  Both teams were tied 6-6 in the first quarter before St. Paul added nine to go up 15-6 at the half.
  
  Conor Kresta led the team with 23 rushes for 214 yards and four touchdowns. Tre’Zell Jenkins-Perry
  had nine rushes for 34 yards and a touchdown. River Haynes added seven for 66 yards. The team totaled
  46 rushes for 356 yards. They were penalized 12 times for 110 yards.
  
  Shiner St. Paul (6-0, 3-0) host San Antonio St. Gerard (2-5, 0-3) with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
