Cardinals’ rushing attack thrives

  SOMERVILLE — Shiner St. Paul dominated on the ground as they took care of business
  at Somerville to remain undefeated.
  
  The Cardinals outscored the Yeguas 42-0 in the first half before ultimately winning
  the game 56-12.
  
  T.J. Bell led the team in rushing with his seven carries for 77 yards and three touchdowns.
  Austin Barton was right behind with his four carries for 75 yards and one score.
  Conor Kresta notched in 58 yards, Tre’Zell Jenkins-Perry had 48 and Ryan Malinovsky had 44.
  
  The Cardinals would end the game with 401 yards on the ground over 29 carries.
  
  Over the air, Barton went 3-for-5 for 40 yards, hitting Nathan Pilat twice for 34 yards
  and Ryan Bell once for six.
  
  Shiner St. Paul (3-0) takes on Flatonia (2-1) at home, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
