Coach: Steven Cerny. DISTRICT 31-A - SHINER COMANCHES
Lettermen R/L: 18/12. Starters returning O/D: 8/5.
2006: 8-5 D1 quarterfinalists/5-1 district.
Players to watch: CB/QB/K/P Kyle Condel (6-3, 200, 4.6), SS/WR Code Franke (5-8, 150, 4.6).
Other prospects: RB D.J. Pustka, C/DE Kody Selzer, LB Ethan Darilek, RB Adam Kalich, OT Julian Longoria, DE Dalton Handley, DB/QB/WR Matthew Hibbs.
2007 notes: Coach Cerny says the experience the Comanches gained while overcoming a number of injuries last season should make them better. Cerny says Condel is a great all-around athlete who will rarely leave the field. Franke returns at DB (60 tackles) and was also an outstanding kick returner and will play some wide receiver.
