A non-profit foundation has been established to help fund expenses for the
building of the Shiner public school.
Marvin Boedeker is the president of the Shiner ISD Educational Foundation.
"February 16, 2006, was an extremely special day, and possibly the greatest
day in the history of Shiner, Texas," he stated. "The ground breaking on this
day marked the official start of the grandest construction project our small
town has ever undertaken. The monumental task of planning, developing, and
building a new school has been under debate for almost two years, encountering
tremendous bouts of discussion. Consideration, both pro and con, devoted to
this issue easily surpasses that given any other project.
"What truly defines the construction of our new school as one of the single
greatest events in Shiner's history is that it stands to benefit not only all
of our children, grandchildren, and faculty, but also the future of our
wonderful community.
"In an effort to support the successful completion of the new school, we have
created the Shiner ISD Educational Foundation," he stated.
The foundation has been established as a Texas Nonprofit Corporation under
Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The purpose of this foundation is to provide financial assistance to Shiner
ISD in the construction of our new school. "We would like to provide all of
you with information on how you can personally contribute to the success of
this great project," he added.

everyone with an opportunity to participate:

solution, but with all of your help, we can get them off to a strong start.
This is your opportunity to demonstrate your support of this once in a
lifetime project. Thank you in advance for your gift to the current and
future Shiner ISD students, faculty, School Board, Administration, and
